Does your adsense* account has the same issue as the feature image of this post? If yes, then you are in the correct place as you need to take action otherwise your earnings is at risk. Earnings at risk – You need to fix some ads.txt file issues to avoid severe impact to your revenue.
Steps
- Download the file (check screenshot above)
- Upload the file to your website via ftp
- Visit https://www.your-website.com/ads.txt
Just to verify that it works you should see the following message:
google.com, pub-(your-number), DIRECT, (your-number)
You just need to wait a few weeks for the warning message to go away. For me it took 2 weeks or more, so do be patient. As long as you have already inserted the ads.txt file you have nothing to worry about.
