If you’d asked me a month ago whether I’d be contributing to multiple open source projects again this year, I’d probably have said, “Not sure I’ll have the time.”
But here we are — challenge completed ✅

Awarded to Hacktoberfest Supercontributors who land 6+ accepted PRs/MRs! The first 10,000 people to reach the 6PR milestone also receive a special t-shirt code from DigitalOcean.
This year, I focused on small but meaningful contributions: improving responsive design, fixing accessibility issues, and helping with documentation — things that often go unnoticed but make a real difference.
Here’s what I learned along the way:
- Contributed on more than 6 open source projects.
- Learned how to read and test unfamiliar codebases.
- Got more comfortable with Git & GitHub workflows.
- Built confidence collaborating with open source maintainers.
The result? 6 badges unlocked, and another awesome Hacktoberfest experience added to the list.
Big thanks to the open source community for always being so welcoming — and to everyone who encouraged me to keep contributing.
Already looking forward to Hacktoberfest 2026!
